Tuna Salad for Crackers
Ingredients:
1 can (6 oz) albacore tuna in water, drained
5 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 teaspoons minced celery
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
A dash of ground black pepper
A dash of salt
Crackers of your choice
Instructions:
Prepare the Tuna Salad:
In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, minced onion, and minced celery.
Add the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Season with a dash of ground black pepper and
salt to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Chill the Salad:
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together.
Serve:
Scoop a tablespoon of the tuna salad mixture and place it on top of each cracker.
Optionally, garnish with a small piece of fresh dill or a sprinkle of paprika for added flavor and presentation.
