Peppered Steak With Rice
INGREDIENTS 1/4 cups of low sodium soy sauce 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar 4 teaspoons of organic brown sugar 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 2 tablespoons of olive oil Kosher salt Ground black pepper 1 pound flank tender steak ( make sure that it’s thinly sliced) 1 red bell pepper cut very thinly 1 green bell pepper, very thinly sliced 3 big cloves of garlic minced 1 tablespoon of freshly minced ginger Make some rice INSTRUCTIONS Sauce: place the soy sauce with the vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch in a medium bowl Stir to combine and set aside Heat a tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over high heat Once the oil is hot,
add the steak into the skillet Season with salt and cook for about 9 minutes or until both sides are nice and seared Once cooked thoroughly transfer the f steak onto a plate In the same skillet, add the remainder of the 1 tbsp oil Place the green bell peppers in Cook for about 5 minutes until it’s tender Add in the garlic and ginger Stir and cook until it smells Devine Step 4: Add the beef back into the skillet Pour the sauce over the steak and veggies and cook for about 14 minutes Stir everything until it’s nice and done Enjoy with rice!!
