Ingredients:
One large onion
one bell pepper
three sweet sausages
4 stalks of organic celery
Not finely chopped
minced garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
5 Bay Leaves
3 cups of chicken broth
3 cups of water
1 1/2 lb of peeled deveined raw shrimp
1 lb of boneless and skinless chicken thighs
1 lb of crab claws
1/2 pound of chopped okra
2 tbsp Creole Seasoning
7 sprigs of fresh thyme
2 cans of Fire Roasted Tomatoes
Start this Seafood Gumbo by making a Roux with oil and flour in a cast-iron skillet then at the end add your onion, celery, and bell pepper
Add in the cooked roux to the crockpot wit all my ingredients except the seafood and I cooked it on high for 4 hours
Once done add the shrimp and crab claws Let it cook for a additional 45 minutes
Have with a side of bread
