1 lb frozen crinkle-cut fries
Salt, to taste
For the Ketchup and Tartar Sauce:
Ketchup
Mayonnaise
Dill pickles, finely chopped
Red onion, finely chopped
Fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Fries:
Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the crinkle-cut fries.
Bake the fries until crispy and golden brown.
Season with salt.
Bread the Fish and Shrimp:
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dredge the fish and shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Fry the Fish
and Shrimp:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep-frying pan or pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully place the coated fish and shrimp into the hot oil, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
Fry for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Make the Tartar Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, finely chopped dill pickles, red onion, fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Adjust the flavors to your liking.
Serve:
Arrange the fried fish and shrimp on a serving platter.
Serve with the crinkle fries, ketchup, and homemade tartar sauce.
