What you will Need
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
Half cup butter , room temperature
One and one fourth cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk with 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup blueberries frozen, removed from freezer right before adding
How to make the Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp heavy cream
Half tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon zest (or the zest from one large lemon)
One quarter cup lemon juice (or the juice from one large lemon) one quarter tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 400 F
1 cup of regular milk add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Add some softened butter to a large bowl Place the butter in small pieces Add flour, baking powder, salt and sugar
combine with clean hands until all of the ingredients are
mixed well
Add buttermilk to the flour mixture and mix with spoon until thoroughly mixed
Take about one cup of frozen blueberries
Add blueberries to the flour mixture and mix gently with spoon or your hands Don’t smash the berries
On a floured surface, flatten out dough and take a 3 inch biscuit cutter and make the biscuits
Get a skillet and oil the pan
Bake for about 30 minutes
Make the glaze while cooking
When done drizzle the glaze over the hot biscuits
